This app presents some summary actuarial values based on the United States Social Security Administration cohort mortality tables updated from the intermediate assumptions in the 2025 Trustee Report.

I developed this program for educational purposes and thought it interesting to compare probabilities of surviving to a given age across various years of birth and at different ages. As mentioned in the application “Info” section, the information is of a general nature based on averages across the population. It cannot be used to predict a given individual’s life span.
The annuity value is an annuity that pays monthly starting at once (annuity due) and was calculated using the 11/24 adjustment to an annual annuity. The life insurance lump sum is derived by multiplying the traditional curtate life insurance value by i/δ where δ = ln(1+i) and i is the interest rate.
